Catherine Street Kitchen

This kitchen was a finalist for Best Renovation $200,000 – $350,000 at the 2022 Awards of Creative Excellence, presented by the London Home Builders’ Association (LHBA).

This project was a collaboration with Ana Cole Interiors and Stone Mill Cabinetry.

The massive kitchen island has storage on all four sides. A brass ladder rail above the first set of upper cabinets allows for the library ladder to reach the second tier of uppers.

This rolling island has two flip-up quartz leaves that provide a large surface that can be used anywhere in the space.

The custom-built fireplace surround and mantel hosts a Samsung Frame TV that mimics a piece of art when not in use. It is flanked by custom built-in cabinets on either side which are stained to match several other wood features in the space.

The homeowners were excited to remove the arches and pillars and the wall that divided the kitchen from the dining room to create a much more open and functional space.
